Final Scraps…October 2009

Join us this month for our SHOP AT HOME event promoting employees and customers SIDE BUSINESSES. We want to encourage our customers to keep their dollars here in the Flathead Valley by supporting your local businesses. We will be giving away prizes and have refreshments—and you can get your holiday shopping done early!

Thank you for your support of our annual SCRAPpink 2009 fundraiser. We had a TON of fun and gave away over $500 worth of prizes. Barbara is a 5 year cancer free breast cancer survivor and she brought her entire family to support the cause AND was able to complete her wedding album in the entire day. What an inspiration to us all!

I love fall…no I’m not happy about the turn of cold weather but I love the colors of fall. The reds, oranges, browns…it just inspires me to work on those unfinished projects and scrapbook layouts I have been itching to finish. So bring it on!

I was able to surprise my BIG sister for her birthday last month and even invented a NEW game…While visiting we had some updated family photos taken by my talented brotherin- law and I felt inclined to share. Thank you for your continued loyalty shopping locally. Your business is appreciated and hope to see you soon.

Final Scraps…July 2009

Is everyone else feeling that summer is almost over when it seems it just began?!  Maybe because its one of those years where I have so many TO DO’s and not enough TO NOT DO’S. (tee hee)

Last Monday night I got a call from my youngest brother, Mason and he called to tell me his wife was in labor at the hospital. He asked me to come and be a part of their big day…first baby and all. I was excited and drove all night to get to Pullman, WA before the baby came. I made it about 4 am and was able to drop off a camera for them to have available. At 9:40 am PST my newest niece arrived in a RUSH—Myra Aurorah Mae 7 lbs and 19 inches long. I was happy to share in this day with them and was able to take some photos that they will have to remember the special day. Thank you for allowing me to be with you…I will cherish the memory always!

What a good reminder for you to take advantage of our classroom and get those photos out of the boxes and onto the page. Our classroom is also available for your use during business hours and as always our FRENZY nights are FREE—Saturdays until Midnight! And are CLASSES ARE FREE— just purchase your supplies.

Is spring here yet? Oh wait its suppose to be summer this month. June 21st is the 1st day of summer…also my wedding anniversary. We chose this day to make it easier to remember. At the time we didn’t know that our good friends, Harvey and Barbara Reikofski were also married on the same day (Shelly’s parents). This year they are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. WOW…what an accomplishment and a

The one thing I will be forever grateful for is the MANY MANY friendships I have made along the way. I found this quote while flying home from California last month and I am compelled to share it with you.

“The Courage of Integrity…the highest courage is

to dare to be yourself in the face of adversity.

Choosing right over wrong, ethics over convenience,

and truth over popularity…these are the

choices that measure your life. Travel the path

of integrity without looking back, for there is

never a wrong time to do the right thing.”
